Carnaval de Quebec is one of the largest winter festivals in the world and welcomes celebrators every February. Its week-long programme is packed with a wide range of activities and attractions to delight all ages, which includes countless shows and a host of winter activities like skating and the classic ice boat race.

Festival d’été de Quebec

This huge July festival packs in the crowds — and it’s easy to see why. The festival’s 10-day length means it features an extensive programme that ensures there’s something to suit most musical tastes — with acts ranging from rock and pop to hip-hop and rap. As it matches the Quebéc setting, the festival also features a playlist of top French-speaking acts too.

ComediHa! Fest-Quebec

You’ll have great fun if your visit coincides with (恰逢) this 12-day festival, which brings the laughs every August. Its packed programme of indoor and outdoor shows features everything from top local talent to international acts. The festival, which takes place in Montreal as well as Quebéc City, features no fewer than 500 artists, split between some 350 shows at 15 different venues. So you’ll have every opportunity to slot a show or two during your travels.

Festival d’Opera De Québec

Those who prefer cultural charms won’t miss out during their Quebec visit. The Festival d’Opera de Quebec is held every July to August — two weeks of concerts and musical performances featuring some big-name artists and shows. Since its launch in 2011, it has marked some major milestones.

With its riverside location, Ramsbottom Festival is one festival which can truly be called beautiful. Here you can enjoy a mix of music, great arts and family shows, as well as a variety of Great British and international food.

Ramsbottom Festival takes place 16-18 September 2016 at Ramsbottom Cricket Club, Bury, easily reachable by public transport from Manchester city centre.

The Willow Festival — the world's largest festival showing new and undiscovered live music bands and artists is coming to Dorset. Fun for all the family, the event also has a shopping area, a world food village, and plenty of activities for kids.

Tickets are just £10.00, which covers a come-and-go attendance for all three days.

It's our first ever family-friendly music festival, right here at River Cottage HQ in Devon.

On 17-18 September 2016, the farm will be filled with live music from popular bands in the UK. In between all that dancing you'll be able to watch shows from local craftspeople (匠人) and make your own piece of jewelry.

World Smile Day is celebrated (庆祝) on the first Friday of October every year. It was created (创建) by Harvey Ball, an artist from the United States. He created the Smiley Face in 1963. The day was created to spread joy and love to everyone.

World Book Day was created on 23rd April, 1995 by UNESCO (联合国教科文组织). It was created in honor of two great men: William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. Books have been educating people for hundreds of years, and the best way to celebrate this day is to find the time to do some reading.

World Health Day

The World Health Organization (WHO) was created on 7th April, 1948 to solve health problems. Every year, the members of WHO meet in Switzerland to review WHO’s work and set new goals. The day is celebrated annually on 7th April.

The International Day of Families

The International Day of Families was created by the United Nations in 1993 and is celebrated on 15th May every year. The day celebrates the importance of families.
