My neighbor Granny Zhang and my mother are good friend. They often walk, dance and shop together. Last week Granny Zhang gave us several pies making by herself. And she brought big apples, which given by her relatives. We were very grateful for her generosity. How could we thanked her? Then an opportunity came. Yesterday was the Children’s Day. I made lots of dumplings with my mother, and then I sent any to Granny Zhang’s house. She was very happily to see me. She happily accepted the food but gave me a box of chocolate for return. Later she told me that she celebrated the day by cook the dumplings for her grandchildren.

Everybody has a best friend, but they can share everything. I also have one calls Bob. He is a good student who helps me learn a lot. Frequent, he helps me with math. Besides, he’s friendly and reliably. I trust him completely and I share him secrets all the time. Being brave is also his good qualities. I remember once when a classmate laughs at me he came to his rescue. To my joy, he always remembers my birthday and has the good understanding of how to cheer me up when I’m down. Bob is really great and I am quite grateful for how he has done for me.

There was a time when Zhang Yi and I was good friends, but now we are like stranger. On his first day in our class two years ago, he had no one to talk. I was the first one to say hello to her, so we became friends. Zhang Yi did well in math or he was always ready to helping me with it. One day last month, I told him about that I would be away from school for two days to see a friend. But he told my father about it and that made me angrily. Now, I know I was wrong. I decide to say sorry for him, because I don’t want to lose so a good friend.

James, a famous scientist, is one of my best friend. At the beginning, he asked if I could assist him with what to use chopsticks. I said yes happily but this was a good chance to improving my spoken English as well when helping him. So I manage to make myself understood. When she was able to use chopsticks skillfully, I could speak English fluent, which was beyond my expectation.

As an old saying goes, “Helping others are helping yourself.” This experience not only brings me close friend but also makes me to realize the meaning of cooperation.
