Before departure, I had intended to stop by hunters' cabins(小木屋) on my trip. During the ________ ride to the first cabin, my SSB radio and sleeping bag dropped off the sled and got lost. The situation continued to ________— my snowmobile broke down. The days were ugly. Blowing snow ________ visibility to a few meters. I had to go to Repulse Bay. It would be a tough ________ over hilly terrain(地形)，but I had no other ________. I set out on foot.

I kept moving forward ________ I was worn out. So I stopped for a rest. Then I saw searching planes flying overhead and I ________ waved my gun. But nobody found me. ________ in a snow cave,I dreamed of my family. At home, life was ________—watching films and hunting seals. I couldn't give up. I ________ the freezing cold alone for five days before arriving at Repulse Bay. It was my family that ________ me whenever I collapsed. They gave me power to survive. I felt I was so lucky.

Trying new things is the only way we can discover hidden talents. I __________ my career as an editor for a magazine. I didn’t really mind the work, but I wanted something more __________. Then I was offered a management __________ of a digital reading company. The job was a seemingly _________ mix of my skills and interests, so I jumped at it.

Mondays are generally pretty busy for me. On one of these _______ Mondays, I got ready to go to work thinking about all the things I have to _______ on that day and walk down to get to my car scolding myself for being late to work, but _______ the car was nowhere to be found. I _______ right across my apartment the previous night but it wasn't there that morning.

This was at 8:00 am in the morning. I made_______ to all the towing places, police stations all the time thinking that it was towed by _______ . By around 10.00am, I couldn't find it anywhere and the cops decided that it was _______ stolen. Alter filing a report with them, I finally get to work thinking how my day was completely _______ .

I didn't know why this complete stranger would want to ________ some time off his day to help me. He actually took me to DMV, got a duplicate and then ________ me a car. I was ________ the whole day because of the sequence of events that happened to me but somehow this simple act of kindness from a complete stranger made it all ________ it.
