I first started writing poems in high school, but it were not very good. I just write down words without thinking about their meanings. When I turned nineteen, I was pleasing to go to a poetry class at the university on every day. It helped me focus on that I wanted to achieve through writing. At the same time, my teacher invited me join a poetry club, where we would all recite our poems out and offer different opinion. This not only helped me become more confident in speak in front of audience, and I also gained a better understanding of pace. The biggest thing I learned was to take a deeply breath and not to rush it.

About two years ago, I worked hard and entered a locally key school, which my parents were proud of it. From then up, I got up early and got to the school on time. After school, I went back home in time to help my parents do some housework while enjoy some light music. However, one day my mother persuading me to live at school to learn to be independent, preparing the future life. As I was unhappy, I understood my parents and followed their advices to enjoy the school life. Before living at school, I found it helped me save time and learn what to get on with others.

My English teacher. Mr. Black, gives us some advices on how to improve our English.

He suggests that we should practise English as many as possible. We can do this by listening to English programmes on radio and TV, like news programmes, teach programmes and films. We must also remember to read English newspapers and books. It's important to get to a good student's dictionary. Student's dictionaries are much easier to use because they have clearly explanations. They also have more examples of everyday phrases. And you know all those similar words we get confusing with? The differences between them are explained. Beside, these dictionaries have headwords that are darker. I don't know student's dictionaries could be of such great helpful.
