As far as I'm concerned, 【小题1】is wrong to keep any kind of native animal as a pet. Native animals belong in the wild. Taking wildlife away from its habitat and keeping it as a pet is【小题2】(legal).

The reason why I have been thinking about this topic is that my friend told me he wanted to catch a bearded dragon【小题3】lived in the bush behind his backyard. He【小题4】(say) he was going to keep the dragon in an old fish tank. I told him that would be cruel and suggested that if he【小题5】(real)wanted a pet bearded dragon,he could buy a Recreational Wildlife Licence so that he could buy one. But I also told him it would be cruel to keep a bearded dragon in a tank. Bearded dragons need space【小题6】(run) around and they need to be able to lie in【小题7】sun and catch food.

I did some research and I found out that there are wildlife sellers who make money by【小题8】 (take) animals from the wild to sell to people who want unusual animals as pets. Most of the animals【小题9】(steal)from the wild die during transport. Stealing wildlife from the environment is a serious crime. I think wildlife sellers should【小题10】(send) to jail for a long time.
