In 2017, when A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains, 【小题1】 (complete) by Artist Wang Ximeng during the Song Dynasty (960 — 1279) at the age of 18, was exhibited at the Palace Museum, thousands of people lined up for hours to get a glimpse of it.

It is 【小题2】 (wide) acknowledged to be one of the most important works in the history of Chinese fine art history. 【小题3】 11-meter-long scroll painting is a record of people’s lives and the natural scenery of that time, mixing realism with creative 【小题4】 (imagine). There are mountains, rivers, villages, ports, temples and pavilions.

Choreographers(专业编舞者) Zhou Liya and Han Zhen recalled vividly, “It is extremely rare to see a painting so intact, 【小题5】 is nearly a thousand years old.” In early 2020, they were commissioned 【小题6】(create) a dance piece by the China Oriental Performing Arts Group.

【小题7】 Aug 20, 2021, the dance piece, Poetic Dance: The Journey of a Legendary Land-scape Painting, premiered at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing. With warm feedback from audiences, the dance piece is now 【小题8】 (tour) nationwide, with more than 50 shows in about 20 Chinese cities, including Xi’an in Shaanxi province, Jinan in Shandong province and Beijing.

Camera trap photos and videos have helped us to learn 【小题1】 wild animals are really like in their habitat. In February of 2018, researchers 【小题2】 (record) a rare video of a newborn western lowland gorilla (大猩猩) in the rainforests of Nouabale - Ndoki National Park in the Republic of Congo. The baby was born of a female gorilla named Mekome 【小题3】 a male silverback named Kingo.

Camera traps are a great way to monitor wildlife activities, but sometimes they also record species 【小题4】 (think) to be extinct. A camera trap in Gabon’s Bateke Plateau National Park got an image of a spotted hyena (斑鬣狗), 【小题5】 was believed to have been extinct two decades ago. The 【小题6】 (discover) has given conservation groups hope that protection of the park is working and allowing wildlife 【小题7】 (return).

Ujung Kulon National Park in Indonesia is home 【小题8】 the world’s last population of Javan rhinos(爪洼犀牛). Despite all living in one 【小题9】 (relative) small location, Javan rhinos are not easy to spot. A camera trap showed a female Javan rhino with her baby, 【小题10】 (give) park officials and conservationists greater hope for the survival of this species. The population appears to be holding steady at a minimum of seventy-five individuals.
