It was a day 【小题1】 my life was turned over. We were caught in a storm when my two brothers and I were coming back from fishing. A huge wave covered our boat and my younger brother 【小题2】 (fall) into the sea. The moment I heard my elder brother cry out “Moskoe-storm”, I was frightened.

With the wind and waves, we were going in the direction of the whirlpool. The boat was on the inside of the huge whirlpool and we were going round in circles at great speed. Later I made three important 【小题6】 (observe) and figured out a possible way 【小题7】 (escape). I tied myself to a barrel to help me float and jumped into the sea. But it was a pity that my brother was too frightened to follow my advice and 【小题8】 (pull) into the bottom of the whirlpool with the boat.

As you can see, the reason 【小题9】 I survived was that I made the right decision. Later I was carried to an area 【小题10】 I was saved by some fishermen who were my friends. When I told them my story, they didn’t believe it because it was really a miracle.
