I’m base in Bahrain, and I have a small apartment there. The thing I like most about my job is the chance to meet people from different cultures. I spend a lot of my time handing out food and drinks and clearing up people’s rubbish. I certainly don’t feel very excited about going home at two in the morning.

I enjoy playing around with word puzzles. So I sent a couple in to a local newspaper and I suppose it is a strange way to spend your day surrounded by dictionaries and books, but it’s great because I’m just doing what I like.

I love music and listen to it all the time, even when I go jogging. As for my job – you really can’t be shy in this kind of work, and you have to be very patient because sometimes we practice for hours before we get it right. When we’re on tour, we work for several weeks with no breaks and you can get really tired. For relaxation, whenever I get a holiday, I go straight to a sunny beach.

Most people think I spend my day chopping (切) vegetables and washing dishes, but it’s not that simple. I have to be really careful with the food and keep everything very clean. The biggest problem is my boss – he shouts at me all the time – even, for example, if I forget to wash up one plate. Actually, I’m hoping to find a new job soon because I don’t get much time off.

Course 1: High School ESL

Why not make the most of your time studying in Australia with the help from TIES? We have High School ESL classes each week specifically designed for international students. Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 am to 12:00 am, $25 per hour.

Course 2: One on One

If you are interested in some One on One lessons with TIES teachers, we can design a course to meet your needs. One on One lessons can improve your English language skills more quickly and help students who want to take TOEFL. Tuesday to Friday: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, $ 80 per hour.

Course 3: General English

General English is designed to develop students’ basic communication skills in speaking and pronunciation, reading, listening, writing, grammar and vocabulary. Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 am to 11:00 am, $ 288 per week.

Course 4: Night Classes

Do you want to improve your English and get the best possible results in your GRE test? We have two night classes each week designed to meet your needs. Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm, $60 per day.
