China’ s first comprehensive museum 【小题1】 (focus) people’ s attention on archaeology(考古学)opened to the public on April 28, 2022 in Xi’ an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province.

The Shaanxi Archaeology Museum 【小题2】 (propose) in 2009. After several years of preparation, construction began in 2019, and it was completed in December, 2021. The building has 【小题3】 total floor space of 36, 000 square meters. Xi’an and 【小题4】 (it) neighboring area provided crucial reference points for studies on urban construction, social structures, 【小题5】 the formation of central dynasties inancient times.

Exhibits in the new museum are from 【小题6】 (discovery) made by the Shaanxi Academy of Archaeology, one of the most famous institutes for archaeological studies in China. Sun Zhouyong, director of the museum, said, “The new venue aims 【小题7】 (demonstrate) the beauty of the 【小题8】 (culture) relics, and offer extensive information on the locations 【小题9】 they were unearthed.” Some relics might be unattractive to the eye, but they contain key clues for academic breakthroughs.

The museum will accommodate up to 1, 500 visitors daily until the end of July. Online reservations are needed and entry is 【小题10】 (complete) free of charge. It is closed on Wednesdays.

Kenya signed an 【小题1】 (agree) with China in 2013 to construct a new standard railway from Nairobi to Mombasa, part of 【小题2】 will run through the Tsavo National Park. The section of the railway that passes through the park is being built at a raised level 【小题3】 (allow) space for underpasses(地下通道) for the animals.

The Tsavo National Park is home to Kenya’s 【小题4】 (large) elephant group, according to non-profit organization the Tsavo Trust. It says there were over 12,000 elephants in the Tsavo National Park in 2011.

Robert O’brien is Assistant Director of the Tsavo National Park at the Kenya Wildlife Service. He says monitoring the elephants’ movements will help also to reduce the conflict 【小题5】 wildlife and humans, which has been 【小题6】 key issue in this area.

Sospeter Kiambi, an office worker of the Kenya Wildlife Service elephant programme, 【小题7】 (say) the project is 【小题8】 (potential) dangerous for both elephants and people, but he also says that 【小题9】 (authority) will make full use of this exercise and avoid 【小题10】 (make) silly decisions to damage the relation to wildlife.

In all, projects like this one could help elephants and humans live together a little more harmoniously.

For this reason, he began building Walt Disney World Resort in Florida as 【小题9】 vacation destination. However, Disney died of lung cancer before it could 【小题10】(finish), and only a part of his final dream was ever realised.
