Last summer, during the vacation I am working as a volunteer in a home for the aged. After a conversation for a nurse and a social worker, I was told my job was to talk old people, take them out for walks and read them newspapers and books. All that might sound a bit bored, but jut after a few days it turned out to be quite difference. They accepted me as if that I were their friend. They have told him their life stories and given me some advices about life. I have learned so many from them. This was a amazing experience for me.

Mr. Turner turned over in bed from time to time in last night, for he was so excited that he could not fall sleep. Yesterday morning, he went to a big gardening company, knowing as Green Fingers, for the interview. Mr. Turner, who liked to help his grandfather grew flowers in the garden, looking forward to the job offered by the company. When he got the company, he found there were many people waiting and he had no ideas whether he could get the job. While waiting, he helped the workers there to remove the fallen trees and clear the road. Luckily, he was the only one who finally got the job, so the manager decided to give the job to whomever he believed was helpful.

Last summer I decided to get my first job. This was possible one of the hardest tasks.

For me, it was another step moved from a dependent child to a fairly independent adult. 1 bad never hold a job before because of my parents wanted me to focus on school. So I had never worked the day in my life. At first, it is extremely tough. I sent applications hoping to get my first couple of choice. Yet I got neither calls or emails. Luckily halfway through the third week, I finally got a call. It was not my first choice, but we could not say no. And after the interview, I was more than ready start working the following Monday.
