According to a recent survey,violence did exist in schools. Students showed their fear and parents and teachers also 【小题1】(express) their great concern about it. Experts hope the whole society will pay more attention to the mental health of adolescents.

Nowadays,school violence is 【小题2】hot issue. I think this is a phenomenon（现象）,【小题3】calls for our great concern. We should make every effort 【小题4】(prevent)violence happening at school for more and more students would drop out of school 【小题5】their personal safety could not be guaranteed（保证）. In fact,violence can be learned. Children learn violent behavior from adults or from 【小题6】they see on television or on the Internet.

If I meet with school violence,I will not answer violence 【小题7】violence,for it will result in 【小题8】(much)fighting. I will tell my teachers or parents about it. I think they will help me deal with it well 【小题9】they will protect me from the bad guys.

All in all,every student should behave 【小题10】(he) and keep away from violence.

As a liberal arts teacher, it is my more often average to find myself obligated(不得不) to speak to my students about books that I haven’t read, 【小题1】 in the strict sense (having never opened them) or the attenuated(宽松的) sense (having only skimmed them or almost forgotten them). I am not sure whether I have dealt with this sort of situations better than my colleagues. But I have often attempted 【小题2】 (reassure) myself with the thought that those who are listening to me are no doubt on similar ground and are probably 【小题3】 (confident) about it than I am. Of course, there is always a risk that my class will be disrupted and I will find myself humiliated, if even one of my students has read the text I’m discussing.

Admit it or not, we still live in a society, on the decline though it may be, 【小题5】 reading remains the object of a kind of worship. To speak without shame about books we haven’t read, we would thus need to free ourselves of the oppressive image of cultural literacy 【小题7】 (impose) by school and society, for we can strive toward this image for a lifetime 【小题8】 ever managing to coincide with it. Truth destined for others is less important than truthfulness to ourselves, something attainable only by those who free themselves from the obligation to seem cultivated, which tyrannizes(欺压) us from within and prevents us from being ourselves.
