For Nigel Portman， a love of travelling began with what's called a "gap year"． In common with many other British teenagers， he chose【小题1】（take） a year out before settling down to study for his degree． After doing various【小题2】 （job） to raise some money，   he left home to gain some experience of life in different cultures， visiting America and Asia． The more adventurous a young person， the【小题3】（great） challenge they are likely to set【小题4】（them） for the gap year， and for some， like Nigel， it can result in a thirst for adventure．

As well as doing some mountain climbing along【小题9】way， Nigel hopes to pass on to the people he meets the environmental message【小题10】lies behind the whole idea．

The first on the must-go attraction list of Jiuzhaigou is the Jiuzhai Valley National Park. 【小题1】(locate) about 460 kilometers away from Chengdu, it has a(n) 【小题2】 (usual) ecosystem with dozens of lakes, waterfalls, forests and rare animals. There goes a saying 【小题3】 no mountain is worth seeing after the Yellow Mountain and no other water will be 【小题4】 interest after the Jiuzhai Valley. If there are “fairylands” in the world, Jiuzhaigou is 【小题5】 (certain) one of them. This site has been designated as 【小题6】 UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Going west along Jiuhuang Ring Way towards Chengdu, visitors can stop and explore many spectacular scenic 【小题7】 (wonder). The Huanglong National Scenic Reserve is famous for its 【小题8】(colour) waters, lakes, hot springs, snow-capped mountains, valleys, and forests. It is another must-see for visitors 【小题9】 (come) to Jiuzhaigou. The majestic snow-capped Xuebaoding Mountain, 【小题10】 is 5,500 metres above sea level, stands on the way to Huang Reserve. It is a favourite among mountain climbers and hikers.

My friend had a chance to make a trip to Hong Kong 【小题1】 August 15, 2018. He had dreamed about 【小题2】 (visit) it since his boyhood and it was the 【小题3】 (one) time that he had been there. The following was what he had seen.
