Camp Nou

Located in Barcelona, Spain, this stadium ranks the largest football stadium in Europe. Camp Nou, completed in 1957, is built on the land formerly occupied by horse racing tracks. The architectural features include one main grand-stand (大看台) along with four smaller ones, each holding about 12,000 people along with additional standing room for about 30,000 supporters around it. There are also two large underground car parks beneath the stadium which can hold about 3,00 cars each.

Bukit Jalil National Stadium

Located in the National Sports Complex in Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur, the stadium was built in 1998 at a cost of about $270 million. This stadium is listed as one of the greatest in Southeast Asia with the capacity of 87,41. It is the home ground of the Malaysian national football team. Many other events such as concerts, festival celebrations and cultural shows are also held here.

Wembley Stadium

Built in 2007, it is the fifth biggest football stadium in the world, which can accommodate 90,000 people. As the largest stadium in the UK, Wembley Stadium has been the temple of English football for a decade. Many major home matches of the England national football team and the FA Cup Final are usually held at this stadium, which has witnessed the 2011 and 2013 UEFA Champions League Finals and the semi-finals and final of UEFA Euro 2020 with honor.

Melbourne Cricket Ground

It is by far the biggest stadium in Australia that has a capacity exceeding 10,00 spectators. It is also the world’s largest cricket stadium. The original version of the stadium was opened way back in 1853 and it has been expanded and renovated multiple times throughout its history. It’s used for multiple sports and has hosted several important events, including the 1956 Summer Olympics, the 1992 and 2015 Cricket World Cups, and the main venue of Australian Football League matches as well.

National Music Theater Competition

The 2022 National Music Theater Competition (NMTC) semifinal and final (决赛) rounds will be held in New York City in early January 2022.

As the first national competition for the music theater soloist (独奏者) seeking the best talent, NMTC has provided industry connections to past competitors and winners that have led to their success on Broadway and other places in these years. The final round is open to the public for $10 general admission seating and can be purchased at the door.

Entrance Procedure

Application requires payment of the $90 application fee (reduced entry fee for students of NATS Full or Associate members, $75 for these students). All application materials must be submitted by the deadline — September 15, 2021. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. No refund of application fees due to cancellation by the applicant will be allowed. After application, only online applicants have to upload their entry videos until October 15,2021.

Online application will be available on September 5, 2021. Online applicants will make a video that lasts up to 20 minutes from the list of the songs that will be published online.

Today teenagers are using more and more smart phones. They spend too much time in shopping, chatting, playing games and so on. Many of them cannot stop using smart phones to help with their study. Overuse of smart phones will make students too lazy to think and write. Some of them even forget how to write Chinese characters by hand. Teachers and parents are very worried about it.

In order to draw people’s attention to the problems above, in 2013 CCTV held the first Chinese Characters Dictation Competition. About 200 students from 32 teams took part in it. They stood on the stage to write down Chinese characters by dictation. Lu Jialei, a 14-year-old girl from Zhejiang, got first place.

Since then, the competition has been popular among teenagers. Many people are interested in this kind of competition, too. They like to write down the characters while the competitors(参赛者) are writing them.
