Nikhil Kumar is one of the best young table tennis 【小题1】(player)in the United States. Less than a month after Kumar won the right 【小题2】(compete)in them,the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games 【小题3】(put)off until 2021. Like so many other Olympic athletes, he is now trying to stay sharp and in shape.

All things considered, he says, everything seems to be working. “For my sport, a little lucky that we’re able to have everything indoors, and it’s not taking up too much space and everything,” Kumar said. “Not many sports are as lucky as ours are right now, to be able to have the opportunity to continue playing 【小题5】a daily basis.”

The coronavirus pandemic(新冠病毒)has forced many athletes to be 【小题6】(create)as they try to continue their training. But in some Olympic sports, working from home is fairly common. Kumar has been able to play table tennis with a robot 【小题7】shoots balls at him.

The medals of the 19th Asian Games were created after nearly two years of team effort.

“We 【小题1】 (have) no idea at the beginning. To be honest, it was difficult to deliver Hangzhou’s thousands of years of culture and showcase its unique features to the world in such a small medal,” Zhang recalls.

【小题2】 more than 20 drafts, the final design of the medal features the natural landscape of Hangzhou in the style of a traditional painting--【小题3】 (mist) hills, a rippling lake, and rolling mountains on the front, 【小题4】 the back face features the logo of the Olympic Council of Asia.

Football is a popular sport with fans all over the world. There is, however, an indoor version of the game 【小题1】 (know) as “table football”. The game 【小题2】 (play) on a special table.
