Jurnee Farrell, 21, has played volleyball for Howard University throughout her four years at the school. During the second year, her coach, Shaun Kupferberg, encouraged the women on his _________ to register with Be The Match, a(n) _________ that works to save lives through marrow donation (骨髓捐献). Two years later Farrell received a _________ letting her know that she was a(n) _________ for a 57-year-old woman with leukemia (白血病).

Farrell’s donation _________ was November19. Recovery from the procedure would take 7 to 10 days. Donating that day also meant that she would _________ playing in the final conference tournament (联盟锦标赛) with her teammates, taking place that weekend.

“It made me feel happy and __________ at the same time, but it was a no-brainer,” Farrell said. Kupferberg __________ her to go through with the donation. “You’re doing something bigger than ________,” he told her.

Farrell went through the donation procedure and a few days later was sitting on the sofa __________ when her teammates won the conference title. They advanced toward the national collegiate volleyball tournament, which Farrell will __________.

Kupferberg said, “You want to see her rewarded for making the right __________. Getting to play in the national collegiate volleyball tournament is a prize after all of that.”

For anyone looking to become a donor, Farrell has a __________. “You’re saving someone’s life and it’s very ________,” Farrell said. “For you to be in __________ for four or five days is nothing compared to someone who’s been in pain for months. If you get the __________ to save someone’s life in such an easy way, you shouldn’t __________.”

“One person can make a difference” is one of those sayings that we teach youngsters. It is to _________ them to do something kind or _________ another person, or to dream big about how, they will change the world.

Now, nearly 15 years later, One Warm Coat has __________ the donation of over 4 million coats across the country. As the national founder, my heart is full and __________ knowing that we make a real __________ in the lives of thousands.
