For many locals in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, the day begins with a hot, steaming bowl of beef noodles. Currently, there are over 1,600 shops 【小题1】(sell) Lanzhou beef noodles in this ancient city on the banks of the Yellow River, with annual sales estimated at more than $58 billion.

The 【小题2】(early) Lanzhou clear-soup beef noodles developed from Chen Weijing’s Lao Tang beef noodles from Henan Province during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. Now Gansu Province is considering passing 【小题9】 law related to Lanzhou beef noodles, 【小题10】 is believed to provide legal protection for the industry to achieve higher quality in production, business operation and services.

“San Yue San” (三月三) is an important traditional festival in Guangxi, China, known【小题1】 “Double Third”. It falls on the third day of the third lunar month and 【小题2】 (celebrate) by many ethnic minority groups in Guangxi, such as the Zhuang, Yao, and Dong people.

It is believed that Sanyuesan Festival is to commemorate Liu Sanjie, 【小题3】 singer of the Zhuang nationality. At that time, Liu Sanjie had a beautiful voice and was good at singing. She was regarded as the Godness of Singing and was loved by people. However, because she sang the songs to satirize (讽刺) the cruel 【小题4】 (treat) of the rich landlords, expose their crimes of squeezing the people, the landlords hated 【小题5】 (she). Once, when Liu Sanjie went up the mountain to chop the wood, the landlord took the opportunity to push her down the cliff, and Liu Sanjie fell to death. She was dead on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month. The Zhuang people missed Liu Sanjie, so they held a Ge Xu Festival (Singing Festival) to commemorate her.
