We had a specially Teachers’ Day this year. Several days before Teachers’ Day, my classmates and me had a group meeting to decide how we could do to celebrate it. One of my classmate came up with the idea of making a short video about the daily life of our headteacher, to which we both agreed. We get down to filming immediately after the meeting. The evening before Teachers’ Day, I edited the movie on my computer and added to some background music. When the video was eventually showing on Teachers’ Day, our headteacher was greatly moving and we students also enjoyed it. It was indeed unforgettable Teachers’ Day.

My soccer coach retires last week. I did something special for him at his retirement party.

Since my mum makes the better biscuits in the world, I turned to her for help. She taught me some basically steps of baking. I insisted on doing with most of the baking myself. The biscuits was really good. One of my mistake was that I dropped some on the floor when I was packing it up.

At a party, my coach, with a biscuit in his mouth, asked what made them. Then he joked, “I might have to retire again next year just get more of these biscuits.”

It is Mother’s Day today. Though it’s a western festival, it’s popular in China now.

Mom has a full-time job, so she has to do most of the houseworks. She is a great mother. Both Dad or I planned to do something on Mother’s Day. We get up early in the morning. Dad cleaned the house, and then went on shopping. When he came back, I found a bunch of flowers in her hand. I asked Mom to stay in the sitting room and I cooked in kitchen. The dishes what I cooked were Mom’s favoritest. At dinner, we said to her, “Happy Mother’s Day!” Mom was grateful and moving.
