When I was a child, I am crazy about learning the violin. Therefore, I couldn’t understand “real music”. After I graduated at high school, a friend of me suggested that we should learn the guitar because of we both thought it was cool. I will never forget the day that we went to buy guitars in a guitar store. There I saw a guitar player played the guitar, which I really enjoyed. He became my first guitar teacher. It took me such a long time choose a guitar among several wonderful model. Now the guitar is the most importantly part of my life and I practice it every day.

I had been collecting the songs of the Beatles for an long time. The first time when I saw them on the television, I was immediately attracted by them. Actual, my favourite song is Yesterday, that is very sad. However, not all their songs is like that. Some are funny and cheerful, and some express original idea and have lovely tunes. It seem to have an ability to describe the hopes and fears of young people and communicate them. I’m sure their music will be remembering forever.

Since you are a well-known musician, I’m writing this e-mail to ask you for some advices on how to form a band.

I, together by two boys and two girls from different classes in our school, wanted to form a band. We are all fond of pop music and modern dance, but they still have many problems to solve. I’d like to know that we should play one kind of music or different style to start with. And is it enough to practice only at weekends? Why can we get more chances to perform? In addition, we’d appreciate if you would be come up with a name for our band.
