On Sept 17^th, Lang Ping, the head coach of China’s national women’s volleyball team, arrived at my high school. I could taste the excitement in the atmosphere on that quiet Saturday morning. At about 9 o'clock, all the Senior 3 students gathered in the school hall, 【小题1】 (wait) for the arrival of Lang Ping and her team. The moment Lang 【小题2】 (walk) into the stadium, we clapped 【小题3】 (excited). Lang shared her life with us in her speech. She said it was faith and courage that had led her【小题4】 success step by step.

As a Senior 3 student, we are likely to come across many difficulties, 【小题5】 often makes us think we’ll never get through our hardships. However, sometimes not the success【小题6】 the process is the most important. We should hold fewer negative thoughts and work harder 【小题7】 (achieve)our goals.

I think it was not only a【小题8】 (fortune) experience for me, but also a powerful one, as Lang’s words gave us 【小题9】 (strong). I will keep in mind what she told us: Trust 【小题10】 (you)and fight every step to win!

Stephen Curry, the son of the famous basketball star Dell Curry, is also a well-known NBA basketball player in the world. He spent his childhood years 【小题1】 (practise) basketball on the 【小题2】 (mud) basketball court. However, the poor conditions helped 【小题3】 (he) develop his own playing style. He also learnt to be 【小题4】 (create) and flexible as a player. Gao Tingyu thrilled the home crowd by becoming the first Chinese man to claim an Olympic gold medal in speed skating, 【小题1】(win) the 500 meters on Saturday.

“Gao has conducted 【小题2】excitingly fast and excellent performance at the Speed Skating Oval. Ever since he 【小题8】(admit) into China’s speed skating team in 2015, Gao has won championships in【小题9】(compete) that were held home and abroad. He has suffered from severe back injuries and had an eight-month break before competing in the China Speed Skating Championship in 2021.

Gao was also the【小题10】(nation) flag bearer at the opening ceremony of Beijing 2022 on February 4.
