Hangzhou, as the only candidate city of the 2022 Asian Games, won the bid on September 16^th, 2015. Thus, it will be the third Chinese city 【小题1】 (host) the games.

Hangzhou is a beautiful city 【小题2】 a long history. Hosting the Asian Games will give it a new look. 【小题3】 the event will cost the government a lot, the 【小题4】 (benefit) are easy for us to see. To the citizens in Hangzhou, the best part of it is that it will give them the chance to watch world-class matches and competitions close to home. Secondly, there is no doubt that the event will attract more visitors to enjoy 【小题5】 (visit) the wonderful city. At the same time, it is good for the 【小题6】 (develop) of the tourism. Meanwhile, as the construction goes on, more roads 【小题7】 (build) and the Metro system(轨道交通线网） will be expanded, 【小题8】 can reduce traffic jams.

Nadam Fair (那达慕大会) is a traditional festival 【小题1】 (celebrate) by Mongolian people in the sixth lunar month. It starts on the fourth day and 【小题2】 (general) lasts for five days. Nadam is from the 【小题3】 (pronounce) of a Mongolian word, which means “amusement” and “games”. So the Nadam Fair celebrates 【小题4】 good harvest and the fun of playing games. At first there was only one activity during the fair, 【小题5】 might be wrestling, horse racing or archery (射箭). During the Yuan and Ming dynasties, those three activities 【小题6】 (become) the main events. And now, there are some more activities at the fair as well.

The Nadam Fair is one of the most 【小题7】 (importance) festivals for Mongolian people. At the Nadam Fair, everyone can participate 【小题8】 the competitions. Horse racing, archery and wrestling 【小题9】 (be) popular on the grassland of Inner Mongolia since the start of the fair. Nowadays, some other events are also in the fair and are becoming more and more popular, 【小题10】 (include) camel racing, throwing Bulu, lassoing and tug-of-war.

“Green Games” became a calling card for the 19th Asian Games, which 【小题1】 (hold) from Sept 23 to Oct 8 in Zhejiang.

All the competition venues (场馆) 【小题2】 used green energy sources made the Games the world’s first waste-free sporting event.

Just 12 of the 56 venues were 【小题3】 (new) built. The rest were existing 【小题4】 (facility) repaired for sustainable (持续的) use.

The Shangcheng Sports Centre Stadium, 【小题5】 soccer events took place, was first built in2019. During the renovation (维修), its ceiling and seating, both of 【小题6】 had been used for 14years, were kept after being scientifically assessed.

Zhejiang also improved public access to the venues. During the one-year delay (推迟) of the Games, the venues were put aside 【小题7】 still kept in use. Since May 2022, all of the venues【小题8】 (receive) 10 million visits, allowing the public 【小题9】 (experience) the world-class venues.

These venues will continue to function 【小题10】 sports and fitness centers after the Games.
