Alice Pang from Hong Kong always liked dressing well and looking elegant, but never 【小题1】 (actual) considered a career(职业) in modelling. But her granddaughter always thought she had a gift 【小题2】 it, so when she saw an online ad for senior models over 65, she sent in Alice's pictures and she was selected for a photo shoot.

Though 【小题3】 (know) nothing about modelling, Alice Pang had all the natural qualities and succeeded. Today, she 【小题4】 (recognize) as one of the best senior models in Asia, as well as the oldest so far.

“What I was worried about was 【小题5】 I did not have the slightest idea of how to model. But my manager taught me a lot and those girls helped me with my makeup. I gradually developed an interest in modelling and got 【小题6】 (good) at it," Alice said in an interview.

"I entered 【小题7】 industry when I was 93 and this is my third year working as a model," she added.

While most people praise her for her active lifestyle and the courage to start a whole new career in her 【小题8】 (ninety), Alice Pang is not without her critics(批评). She chooses 【小题9】 (ignore) them, though, saying that her personal 【小题10】 (happy) is all that counts.

In fact, Marty’s disability has made him a mentally strong and independent boy. He is able to live as rich and full 【小题6】   life as everyone else does. He keeps himself busy doing things like writing, keeping pets 【小题7】 computer programming that do not require physical 【小题8】(strong). He has many good friends with 【小题9】 he can go to movies and football games. He suggests that the disabled 【小题10】(accept) for who they are and be given encouragement to live their life to the full.

After 38 years of living in China, Roberta Lipson, a US citizen, finally got her Chinese green card" on July 10. 【小题1】(celebrate) the occasion, she posted this in her WeChat Moments, “after 38 years I'm now finally a permanent Chinese resident, along with a picture in【小题2】she was with a colleague at the certificate issuing center, in a white dress, smiling 【小题3】 (wide).

Lipson, also known as Li Bijing, is the founder and CEO of the United Family Healthcare. She came to China in 1979 and【小题4】 (start) her business to help improve the country's public health and medical services by demonstrating 【小题5】 different approach to healthcare.

In 1997, the United Family Healthcare was established in Beijing. It is the first foreign-invested expert medical organization in China. Now her business has extended【小题6】 many cities across the country.

For Lipson, 【小题7】(become) a permanent Chinese resident is something she always wanted. “My career is in China, and I 【小题8】 (be) in China for decades. China is my home. I would feel more comfortable if I have permanent residency," said Lipson during an interview with China Newsweek.

On Oct 18, the 19th CPC National Congress was held in Beijing. “I was excited about the report【小题9】 (deliver) by President Xi Jinping, in which he mentioned the Healthy China Strategy. To 【小题10】 (well) fulfill our social responsibilities, we will bring more medical services to rural areas, and provide more care to special-needs children and migrant workers,” she said.

“This is also the dream of United Family Healthcare, Lipson added.
