阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。

Ring! Ring! Our teacher walked over and picked up the phone. “Hello, Mrs. Well’s class. How may I assist you?” A short pause took place. Mrs. Well spoke into the phone, “Yes, he’s here.” “Liam, the headmaster, Mrs. Bellward asks to see you.” Mrs. Well told me. I stood up and struggled to the door. Tears fell from my eyes as I walked out of the classroom.

“Are you okay?” I heard someone say. My head shot up. I looked to see a mentor (导师) standing there. “I’m fine,” I said while wiping my eyes. “Oh, really? It doesn’t quite seem that way. I’m Jeffery, but you can call me Jeff. Why are you crying?” Jeff asked me. I responded, “My grades are bad and everyone knows it. I try my best on every test, but it’s never enough.” “Okay well, once you get back from the office, come and talk to me. I’ll help you out,” he smiled.

Once I reached the office, I took a few deep breaths before entering. “Liam! Welcome. It has come to my attention that your grades are quite low.” I looked down and seized my fists, “I don’t know why. I try my best, but it never works. Believe me, Mrs. Bellward, I’ll try.” “I believe you, Liam, but you need at least a C in every class to play in the soccer tournament. However, you have all Fs.” Mrs. Bellward said to me. I seized my fists even harder and murmured (嘟哝)a goodbye. I stood up, pulled the door open and walked out of the office.

Why am I not enough? I thought to myself. I turned the corner and walked into the washroom. I sat in the stall and started balling. “I’m not smart, I’m not smart...”I told myself constantly. “You are super smart,” I heard someone saying from beyond the washroom. I stood up and exited the washroom to see Jeff standing there. “And I can help you,” he said to me. A broad smile started to form on my face as I gave him a hug. I pulled away and jogged to the classroom.

The rest of the day went by and I walked into the hall to find Jeff.
