Business Analytics Poster Competition

Are you a student or a professional working on analytics, management science, economics, or data science? This is your chance to share what you have been doing and network with top experts in the field.

Presentations &Production Guidelines

Submissions (提交) are welcomed from all industry professionals and students. Posters can be individual or team submissions. (If a team submission wins an award, the prize money will be shared equally among the team members.) All submissions must have at least one author who is a member of our INFORMS.

Posters must be produced as a single page. We recommend a poster size of 72 inches wide by 36 inches tall, or 48 by 36 inches. Along with the standard poster format, we are also accepting and encouraging posters using the “headline” format. Free model posters are available here.

Video Presentations of Posters

You will need to submit a video presentation of your work that is at most eight minutes in length. You are encouraged to promote your work via social media. There is a Social Media Award cash prize for gaining the most likes on your video! Please show your entire poster on the screen before any specific introductions to your poster. Also, make sure to have a QR code (二维码) so people can link to your actual poster.

Awards

Judges will provide suggestions for each submission after the given poster time has ended. Award winners will be announced on April 16.

Tokyo Bike Tours

Knowledgeable guides will entertain you with the most, interesting stories about Mikados (日本天皇), temples, memorials, and parks. Comfortable bikes and a smooth tour route (路线) make cycling between the sites fun and relaxing.

Join a small group bike tour for an evening of exploration in the heart of Tokyo. Get up close to the monuments and memorials as you bike to the sites of Tokyo Historic Museum and temples. Frequent stops are made for photo-taking while your guide offers unique facts and history. Tour includes bike, helmet, and bottled water. All riders are equipped with reflective vests and safety lights.

The magical world of The Little Prince brought to life!

French visual artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga has worked with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation, and together they have designed a unique touring art exhibition of sculptures inspired by the original watercolor illustrations of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s book, The Little Prince, as well as photos, manuscripts (手稿) and drawings.

The exhibition will be presented for the very first time in Auckland from 1st June to 25th June, 2023 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the publication of The Little Prince.

Entitled “The Little Prince in the Dark”, the exhibition attempts to bring Saint-Exupéry’s illustrations to life in a different way. The artist has created 13 all-white sculptures with relief (浮雕). They are displayed in the dark to be discovered by the senses of touch and hearing. All the magic, dreams and poetry of Saint-Exupery’s beloved book will thus be revealed in a new way never imagined before.

First, start off from the entrance on the first floor to see historical photography describing the great adventure of the pioneering pilot Latécoère. Then, move up to the second floor, where you can find rare original manuscripts and drawings by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. After that, climb up to the third floor to experience the sculptures. Finally, don’t forget to stop off on your way out at the gift shop right next to the entrance and pick up some Little Prince memorabilia to remember your visit.
