It was the final part of the 2016 World Triathlon 【小题1】 (系列赛) in Mexico. With just 700 meters to go, Alistair Brownlee was in third place and his younger brother, Jonny, was in the 【小题2】 (领先). Alistair was 【小题3】 (接近) the finish line in the burning heat, but as he came round the corner, he saw his brother about to fall onto the 【小题4】 (跑道). Alistair had to choose — brotherly love, or a chance to win the race? For Alistair, the choice was clear. His brother was in trouble. He had to help. The rescue put Jonny in second place and Alistair himself in third. It was an 【小题5】 (出乎意料的) end to the race.

The Brownlee brothers have been doing triathlons since they were children. “【小题6】 (显然), when your older brother is doing it, you think it’s a cool thing to do,” says Jonny. Despite 【小题7】 (争论) over “stupid things” now and then, Alistair agrees that having a brother is an advantage.

Watched by millions, the ending to the race has divided opinions: should the brothers have been 【小题8】 (取消……的资格) or highly praised? But for Alistair, at that 【小题9】 (具体的，特定的) moment of the race, he was no longer an 【小题10】 (运动员) aiming for a medal — he was just a brother.

It was the final sprint (冲刺) of the Santa BarbaraXV Grand Prix cyclo-cross race in Spain. Fans lined the road to the finishing line, cheering on the 【小题1】(运动员).

Ismael Esteban, in third place, was just ahead of another cyclist, Agustin Navarro, with only 300 metres to the finishing line. Esteban had been cycling as hard as he could for hours and with the finishing line in 【小题2】(视野). And all the cyclists began to speed up with all their s【小题3】 to cross it. Then, suddenly Esteban got a puncture (轮胎上刺破的小洞).The audience was anxious and 【小题4】(好奇的) about what he would do. Would he give up or continue when facing the 【小题5】(挑战)? Ismael Esteban didn’t give up and then tried to find a 【小题6】(解决方法) to the problem. He threw his bike over his shoulders and ran towards the finishing line. Just a few seconds later,fourth-placed Navarro caught up with him. Surely, he could simply overtake Esteban and come third. But Navarro slowed down and let Esteban run ahead of him. The two cyclists reached the finishing line with Esteban ahead by foot, Navarro just behind him. Navarro had let Esteban finish in third place, while he came fourth. The audience really 【小题7】(钦佩) Navarro for his show of sportsmanship and cheered the cyclists. Navarro said,“I didn’t want to win that way.” Later, Esteban,who won the bronze m【小题8】tried to give it to Navarro. However, Navarro refused,and his response was:“Offering me the prize was worth more than what I did for him.”Tonya, a big fan of Esteban,【小题9】(评论道),“The two cyclists’ sporting gestures make a deep i 【小题10】on us and this is sportsmanship at its very best.”

On Sep. 19th in Fuzhou, the Fifth National Special Olympics will be hosted. It is also the one of most important sport events in Fujian. 【小题1】 its name puts, this games will provide the special athletes—those 【小题2】 are mentally disabled—a good chance to compete in sports. 【小题3】 preparation and participation, mentally disabled people can develop 【小题4】 ability to move, share happiness. Also a sense of 【小题5】(团结) and friendship will be built up in our society.

At present the government is sparing no e【小题6】 to build stadiums, beautify our city and equip more sports facilities. More equal chances are c【小题7】 for the disabled to 【小题8】(融入) with the society.
