Last Sunday, I spent my lucky money on the special gift for my grandma. Early in the morning, I went to a cellphone store and choose a cellphone specially designing for seniors. I gave it to my grandma when I visited her at the weekend. On receive the cellphone, Grandma was very happy and eager to learn how to use it. I patiently explained several important function she needed. My grandma learned carefully and wanted have a try. Under my help, she successful called one of her friends. That afternoon, my grandma proudly told her neighbors that she could make calls with the new cellphone I bought it for her. They all praised what thoughtful I was.

Dear Dr. Health

I am very overweight. Since people often laugh to me behind my back when I ride the underground or going for a walk, I am embarrassing and do not like going out any more. Certainly, I do not feel comfortably going to the gym to work out. Instead, I prefer to exercise at home, and it seemed that I am always going on a diet. But, no matter what I do, my efforts to lose weight always end in failure.

As a matter of the fact, my friends say that I am an attractive girl just the way I am, and that I should not worry at all about my waist or my figures. However, I do worry that my weight might damage my health. I’m not sure whether I should take weight-loss pills. There are news about a Canadian actress which suffered liver failure because of taking those pills.

Life is always full of something that you can not expect. Bob is very sorry to have missed the first two lesson this morning. He got up early as usually in the morning, but when he was ready to leave he find his bicycle’s front tyre (轮胎) flat. He wanted to take taxi to school, and he didn’t have any money on him. He had to look for a place along the street to get his bicycle repairing. Unluckily, there were not any bicycle repair shops was open in the early morning. So he had to walk to school, carrying his bicycle all the way. That was the reason how he was late for school. He told Mr. White not to worry with his lessons, for he would make up for it and turn to his teachers for help if necessary.

I went away home without my parents when I was 10. I went on a school trip with my classmate to Beijing Zoo. We all left home earlier in the morning. We traveled to Beijing by bus and spend the whole day here. I remember seeing a elephant for the first time. I was very exciting! At noon, we ate our picnic lunch, before visited the reptile (爬行动物) house. It was fantastic. At five o’ clock, they got on the bus and returned. It was the best trip I can remember it.
