School Groups Visits

The Met welcomes all school-age learners! We invite you to book either a guided visit led by trained Museum educators and volunteers or a self-guided visit, which allows you to lead your own students through the Museum. Booking is required for all school groups visiting the Museum. To pay a visit to The Met Fifth Avenue or The Met Cloisters, please visit us at schoolvisits@metmuseum.org.

Guided Visits

Guided tours must be booked at least three weeks in advance. Individual (单独的) schools are limited to three weekday morning guided visits per term. Each school is limited to one group visit per day.

Admission

Membership benefits and other passes are not in use for group visits.

Students   $12

Required Adult Chaperones (监护人)   $12

Other Adults   $25

Under-resourced (资金不足的) organizations may apply for reduced rates (价格). Please ask for details when you book.

Group Size

Guided tours at The Met Fifth Avenue or The Met Cloisters may have no fewer than 10 students and no more than 50 students, with one chaperone required for every 10 students. Larger groups will be divided into smaller ones in order to offer more attention to students there.

The Met Fifth Avenue: Monday through Friday, 9:45 am - 3:30 pm.

The Met Cloisters: Monday through Friday, 10 am - 3:30 pm.

Please be sure to book the steam train in advance, as it is exceedingly popular. By the way, it runs seasonally.

Day 4 Overview lakes and glens (峡谷)

In the films, mysterious, misty landscapes frame the background of Harry’s tale, so it’s no surprise that the film producers chose the Highlands for many scenes. Spend a day wandering through some of these beautiful spots and feel the magical atmosphere.

University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum

Wild plants are actually full of color and life, Exploring its 17-plus miles of trails takes you through nearly all of Wisconsin’s native ecosystems, like savannas, woodlands, and wetlands.

Popular Theme Parks

Holiday World

Family-run Holiday World has developed into one of the most successful regional theme parks in the US, offering unlimited free soft drinks, free parking, free sunscreen and free Wi-Fi. The park is divided into four lands, each themed around a different holiday. Understandably, given that the park is located in Santa Claus, Indiana, one of these is Christmas, with the others being Thanksgiving, Halloween and the Fourth of July.

LEGOLAND California

Universal Studios Hollywood

Belonging to one of the world’s leading movie studios, Universal Studios Hollywood features attractions showing the art of movie-making. The park is divided into three main sections—the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Upper and Lower Lots, including Jurassic Park, The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy, The Ride and Transformer, etc. Visitors can explore those sections by themselves.

SeaWorld San Diego

SeaWorld San Diego offers the chain’s standard selection of live shows interactive animal exhibits and other theme park attractions. Located on Mission Bay, it combines thrilling rides with up-close-and-personal experiences, and also offers children’s favorite performances starring sea lions, dolphins and even cats and dogs.
