A little girl who lived in a simple and poor house on a hill. Usually she might play in the small garden. She could see over the garden fence and across the valley the wonderful house with shining golden window high on another hill. Since she loved her parents and her family, she desired to live in such a house and dream all day about how wonderful and exciting it must feel to live there. At the age when she gained some basic skill, she begged her mother to a bike ride outside the garden. Her mother finally allowed her to go. Down the hill and cross the valley, the girl rode to the gate of the golden house. As she got her bike and put it against the gate post, she focused on the house. She was disappointing when she found all the windows were rather dirty.

The day before yesterday, I went to the bookstore where is near our school to buy the reference book. It was Saturday, so there were many people. Under the help of the shop assistant, I quickly got the book I needed to. I was about to leave when I found someone try to steal a man’s money. Although I was nervous, I tried to think of a way to help him. Suddenly, a good idea occurred me. I stepped on the man’s foot on purposes. As expected, the man’s scream gives the thief a fright, who quickly walked out of the shop. After hear my explanation, the man smiled and showed great gratitude for me.

Meng Hao is my best friend. The other days I suddenly remembered that he still kept the pen I had lend him. I turned out to him and asked for it. But to my surprised, he said that he had left it at home. At that moment I was so angry that I insisted on get it back. I blamed him and we had a heating quarrel. Although I knew it is my fault, I refused to admit it. That night, lying in bed I thought I was too seriously. The next morning, I said sorry Meng Hao and we became friends again. Through this experience, I’ve realized the value of understanding others, what everyone should learn.
