Priest (牧师) had a cat that climbed up a tree in his backyard and then was afraid to come down. The priest persuaded (劝说) and offered warm milk, etc. The kitty would not come down. The tree was not strong enough to climb, so the priest decided that if he tied a rope to his car and drove away so that the tree would bend down, he could then reach up and get the kitty. He did so, checking his progress in the car again and again, then worked out if he went just a little bit further, the tree would be bent enough for him to reach the kitty, But as he moved a little further forward, the rope broke.

The tree went “boing!” and the kitty at once sailed through the air out of sight. The priest felt terrible. He walked all over the neighborhood asking people if they’d seen his kitty. Nobody had seen a lost kitty.

So, he prayed, “God, I just give this kitty to your keeping.” And then he went on about his business.

Several days later he was at the grocery store, meeting one of his church members. He happened to look into her shopping cart and was amazed to see cat food. Before this woman was a cat hater and everyone knew it, so he asked her, “Why are you buying cat food when you hate cats so much?”

She replied ,“You won’t believe this.” and told him how her little girl had been begging her for a cat, but she kept refusing. Then a few days before, the child begged again, so the mom finally told her little girl. “Well, God gives you a cat, you can keep it.” She told the priest, “I watched my child go out in the yard, get on her knees, and ask God for a cat. You won’t believe this, but saw it with my own eyes. A cat suddenly came flying out of the blue sky, with its paws spread out. and landed right in front of her.”

A rich woman went on a trip in Thailand, and she took her pet dog with her. One day the dog started running after butterflies and before long he discovered that he was not able to find his way back. When wandering about ,he noticed a tiger heading quickly to him with the obvious desire of having lunch.

The dog thought,"God,I'm in deep trouble now.”

Then he noticed some bones on the ground nearby, and at once stopped to eat the bones with his back to the tiger.

Just as the tiger was about to jump,the dog said to himself loudly,"Hey,that was one delicious tiger. I wonder if there are any more around here?” Hearing this, the tiger stopped jumping,and ran away into the trees.

“Oh,” said the tiger,“That was dangerous. That dog nearly caught and ate me. ”

At the same time,a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, thought maybe he could make good use of this chance and trade it for protection from(免遭···的伤害）the tiger.

So,off the monkey went. He soon caught up with the tiger,and told the tiger the truth.

The tiger was very angry at being made a fool of and said, “Here monkey, stay on my back and see what's going to happen to that dog. "

When the dog saw the tiger coming again with the monkey on its back,he thought,"What am I going to do now?”

But instead of running, the dog sat down pretending he hadn't seen them yet.

Just when the monkey and the tiger got close enough to hear,the dog said,"Where's that monkey? I can not trust him any longer. I sent him off half an hour ago to bring me another tiger as my supper, and he's still not back!”

Hunter McGrady’s All Worthy range was launched in April when the coronavirus pandemic most affected the world. Despite the social restrictions that remain in place in many nations, some of the pieces in her website sold out in a week and one in particular --- a black jumpsuit sold out in minutes.

She has come a long way since she struggled against a series of rejections from modeling agencies and agents who told her she would never make it in the fashion world. “I was really upset and thought that I wouldn’t be good enough unless I lost the weight they asked. Now, I let it roll off my back.”

McGrady was born in southern California on the west coast and her mother was a former model. Although McGrady had strong passion for the fashion industry in the early days, she felt her looks had been frequently judged unsuitable by short-sighted critics. “For both females and males, larger, fatter people are mostly ignored in the glossy fashion world. The ultra-thin models are considered the most attractive, even though the vast majority of ordinary women are on the curvier side."

The All Worthy fashion line includes a range of sizes from XXS to 5X. McGrady and other large women model the range for the line’s website. She was inspired to create the fashion range by the lack of attractive and well-made clothes that fit her. “The mission of All Worthy is to create a line that caters to women of all different shapes and sizes,” she says. “I hope all types of beauty can be shown to the public.”
