Who We Are

Musume offers contemporary Asian cuisine and fantastic sushi (寿司) in the heart of downtown Dallas within the Hall Arts district. Musume, which translates to “Daughter” in Japanese is from Rock Libations restaurant group. Musume serves lunch Monday through Friday and dinner every night of the week. Musume features the country’s largest premium saki (清酒) program with over 120 selections and also possesses the largest Japanese Whisky collection in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, which pair wonderfully with our large party menus. Operations are overseen by Josh Babb and Sean Clavir.

Our elegant private dining room located in Dallas highly acclaimed Hall Arts District comfortably seats 15 to 50 people. From cocktail gatherings with passed starters to seated formal dinners, Musume specializes in hosting unique private events. We offer a wide variety of special event menus that are served family style with something for everyone.

Online Annual Refresher

This interactive yearly refresher course provides first aiders with an opportunity to practice and update their skills as qualified first aiders, at any time while their first aid certificates (证书) are valid (有效的).

Course description

Employers are legally required to ensure their first aiders are competent and maintain their skills throughout the three years in which their certificates are valid.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommends that first aiders attend a refresher course once every year during this three-year period.

Course content

Session (阶段) 1:

Choking — 30 minutes to complete.

After this session, you will be able to help an individual who is choking.

Session 2:

Chest Pains — 30 minutes to complete.

After this session, you will be able to help an individual who is experiencing chest pains.

Session 3:

Severe Bleeds — 45 minutes to complete.

After this session, you will be able to help an individual who is bleeding severely.

Session 4:

Recovery Position — 45 minutes to complete.

After this session, you will be able to help an individual who is unresponsive and breathing normally.

Session 5:

Basic Life Support & AED (Automated External Defibrillator) — 30 minutes to complete.

After this session, you will be able to help an individual who is unresponsive and not breathing normally.

Whatever holiday you celebrate, one thing’s for sure — you’ll find events for children on Long Island throughout the month of December. From holiday performances to crafts, gingerbread houses, light shows, Santa breakfasts and more, here are some of our favorites.

Santa will be at Hicks Nurseries (100 Jericho Tpke, Westbury) from Nov. 23—Dec. 23, so bring a camera for photos (no fee). Kids can also mail their letters to Santa at the North Pole Mailbox and Santa will answer them (last day for letter mailing is Dec. 17; a self-addressed, stamped envelope must be included to receive a reply). On weekends, (Nov. 23—Dec. 16) there will be live music with a brass band from noon—4 p.m. Price: Free.

The 2018 version of "The Grinch" hit the big screen this month, and the popular Dr. Seuss character is inspiring family-friendly events across Long Island.  Click here to view where The Grinch will be making an appearance this season, and more fun holiday happenings in Nassau and Suffolk. The events take place Dec. 15, 16 and 22.

During the holiday season, Bayville Adventure Park (8 Bayville Ave.) turns into a Winter Wonderland. Families can visit Santa’s Toy Factory Funhouse, watch Captain Bay’s "Yo-Ho-Holiday" light show, ride the Holiday Express train and check out the ice skating rink, among other attractions. The Winter Wonderland runs from Nov. 23 through Jan. 1 on Friday—Sunday (also open Dec. 26—27 and 31); kids can meet Santa daily.

The 28th annual Long Island Festival of Trees takes place at Cradle of Aviation Museum (Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Garden City) features display of designer decorated trees, gingerbread creations, cookie decorating, costumed characters and vendors from 10 a.m.—6 p.m. Nov. 24—25 and 10 a.m.—5 p.m. Nov. 26. Price: $15, $10 children ages 2 to 12, free ages 1 and younger.
