Last month our school held a sports meeting, what was aimed to develop our sense of competitions. Although the weather wasn't very fine that day, the students were very exciting including me. To tell you a truth, I went in for the sports meeting and my item was the highly jump. I didn't care much about my ranking. Instead, I only attempted enjoy the game because of I knew I wasn't good at sports. But a lot of my classmates try their best to compete in the game and got many good places. They were both the best in my eyes. I was grateful to them for their make a big difference to the confidence of our class.

To welcome the coming New Year, our class hold a party last night. Before the party, we decorated the classroom with colorful balloons and flower. Our teachers also came to the party. We sang and danced happy at the party but we enjoyed ourselves so much. All the teachers present gave performances. Our teacher of English sang English song. Guess what! He surprised at us. Last Wednesday, the teachers and students in Senior Three as well as our parents attended the grown-up ceremony holding in the school hall, which theme was “Growth and Responsibility”. First, a student representing all of us made the speech. He showed our thanks to our parents and teachers and talk about our dreams. Then, some teachers and parents offered us their congratulation and expressed their expectations for their future. Afterwards, wonderful performances put on by students from different classes. Though the ceremony is over, but it has made me realize clear that I have grown up. I am ready to devote more for our society now.

This year I joined in the Chinese poetry club in our school. The member of our club meet once a week. We have difference activities, that I enjoy very much. At the weekend, in order to enriching our knowledge, we often go to visit poetry exhibitions, where we studied the masterpieces of well-known poets. I am very glad that our club is getting more popular and firmly believe that more poems will created. And I am sure that our schoolmates will get to love our great traditionally culture.
