China’s first artificial intelligence (AI) textbook for high school students 【小题1】(publish) last week, following a plan by central government 【小题2】 (include) AI courses in primary and secondary school.

The nine-chapter textbook, 【小题3】 (name) “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence”, was written by outstanding 【小题4】 (scholar) from well-known schools nationwide, under the joint efforts by the research center for MOOC at East China Normal University and AI startup Sense Time. It includes the history of AI and how the technology can be applied in areas such as facial recognition, auto driving and public security.

“The textbook focuses not only on basics of AI, but on【小题5】 (practice) use of AI in daily life,” said Chen Yukun, a professor at East China Normal University, 【小题6】 is also a contributor to the book.

Up till now, about 40 high schools across the country 【小题7】 (undertake) the task of being the first group of Al high education pilot program 【小题8】 introducing the textbook in the curriculum. “The AI sector is facing a talent shortage 【小题9】 (global). What’s 【小题9】(much), I find out that I still have some bad learning habits 【小题10】 well. I can only concentrate on reading for a short time, and I will conquer this problem by spending more efforts on concentration practice.

I believe that through my efforts, I can gain good learning results by having good habits.

Hong Kong is expected to fund a record number of youngsters to study in universities on the Chinese mainland.

The move covers local secondary school students from low-income families or those with outstanding academic performances, and is expected to 【小题1】 (great) improve the competitiveness of Hong Kong youngsters and promote greater exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland.

So far, it 【小题2】 (benefit) 20, 608 Hong Kong students attending 191 mainland universities. Participating in the program can also help Hong Kong students establish connections with students from mainland universities, expand their network 【小题3】 seek a broader range of development opportunities.
