Enjoying great fame at home and abroad for his excellent artistic achievements, the famous Pipa master Fang Jinlong 【小题1】(honor) by many titles, but he calls himself as a “chameleon (变色龙)” in music.

Indeed, like a dragon 【小题2】(wander) around the world of Chinese traditional folk music, he transforms his role in performance, conducting, composing and social activities and always keeps enthusiasm. In addition to inheriting traditional Chinese culture, he is also 【小题3】(energetic) engaged in the popularization and transmission of folk music and advocates the way of 【小题4】(combine) of fashion and market for folk music.

Besides Pipa, he can play many other instruments. “My father worked in traditional Chinese opera, 【小题5】 there were always lots of folk instruments around the house from 【小题6】I was a young child. Learning a musical instrument is a lot like learning a foreign language. Picking up 【小题7】 first language can be quite difficult, but as you learn more it gets 【小题8】(easy),” he said in an interview.

Traditional lion and dragon dances are 【小题1】 important part of Chinese cultural celebrations, especially in the Spring Festival. The dances may also be performed at business openings, weddings, or other special 【小题2】 (occasion).
