Memories of my sophomore (高二学生）dance 【小题1】 (be) still vivid in my mind.

It was 5 o'clock in the afternoon, and I had put on my red party dress and my host mother was doing up my hair. My schoolmate Chris 【小题2】(show) up at the front door 【小题3】 his suit and tie. He handed me a red corsage (小花束）that 【小题4】 (perfect) matched my dress. We headed for school, and started our dance? To be honest, I am not sure 【小题5】 I should call what we did “dancing”. We jumped, yelled and laughed with people we knew or had just met for the first time. We twirled in circles, threw our arms in the air and, as my English teacher later put it, ran wild around the place. In those few 【小题6】 (hour)，nothing seemed to matter 【小题7】 than having fun.

With music playing and everybody 【小题8】 (have) a good time, Chris asked me a question, "How is the dance different from dances in China?"

“Well, we don’t usually have dances in China.”

“What? How do you express 【小题9】 (you) then?”

【小题10】 (lose) in thought. I was silent for a while.

Now, I have an idea for everyone: Just dance.

I went to a classical music concert yesterday and I loved it．【小题1】 I particularly experienced in a different way is how much I appreciated the musicians. I am 【小题2】 gratefulfor the gifts 【小题3】(share)by the musicians with the audience that I’ll carry this special feeling along with me．

I have noticed how the music can change one’s view，and I am thankful for the way musicians work to the best of their 【小题4】(able)to provide this music for their audience．This newly-found appreciation is from the kindness that I have been allowed 【小题5】 (develop)here on KindSpring and from all of you KindSpringers．

On 【小题6】 topic of classical music，I always love the clapping and the cheering 【小题7】come at the end of a concert．【小题8】(specific)in classical music concerts the applause can last to six or seven minutes．It always 【小题9】 (1ift)my spirits，but now I know that it's because it is all act of gratitude(感激)to the musicians and the music．Thanks 【小题10】classical music concerts，I’ll never fail to carry on with the act．

There are many benefits of singing in a choir(合唱团). They range from the social benefit of having the opportunity 【小题1】(make) new friends to the physical benefit of learning to breathe 【小题2】(proper). Research has also shown that young people 【小题3】 sing in choirs do better in studies and have a tendency to be 【小题4】(healthy).

But the first question you should ask yourself if you are considering 【小题5】(join) a choir is “Can I sing in tune?” It might seem obvious, but unless you can, there is little point in seeking out 【小题6】 choir because you’ll only get rejected. Every choir you apply to join is going to audition(面试)you. Don’t worry if you can’t read music; that can be taught later. If you 【小题7】(accept), you’ll find choir practices to be hard work, 【小题8】 great fun, because they’re social events as well as music training. You will learn to read music and how to sing 【小题9】 confidence. Your voice and technique will probably develop quite quickly with proper instruction, and you may just end up wondering 【小题10】 you didn’t do this years ago.
