Since the earliest time,philosophy (哲学) has inspired new ideas and concepts,with the aim of encouraging independence,creativity and 【小题1】 (origin) thought.

UNESCO established World Philosophy Day in 2002 to encourage philosophical reflection worldwide. Now it 【小题2】 (hold) on the third Thursday of November every year. It is a day that is observed publicly,although it's not 【小题3】 public holiday anywhere in the world.

The day’s purpose is to encourage people 【小题4】 (share) their thoughts，discuss new concepts frankly and debate the challenges 【小题5】 (face)today’s society. It’s also a time to celebrate and share mankind’s philosophical heritage (遗产),and for opening your mind 【小题6】   new ideas. The initiative is 【小题7】 (wide) marked across the world，in countries as diverse as Turkey，Chile，France and Morocco among others.

UNESCO’s major belief is 【小题8】 the sort of analysis and reflection philosophy offers should be present in all subjects that try to create a 【小题9】 (great) understanding of the modern world and its challenges.

Philosophy provides the conceptual basis for the values and principles shaping the potential for world peace—human rights，justice and 【小题10】 (equal). Reflection on modern society’s problems and still-to-be-answered questions remains at the core of philosophical thinking.

For centuries bees, among the 【小题1】 (hard) working creatures on the planet, have benefited people, plants and the environment.

Under the theme “Bee engaged in pollinator-friendly agricultural production”, World Bee Day 2023 calls for global 【小题2】 (act) to support pollinator-friendly agricultural production and highlights the importance of preserving bees and other pollinators (传粉者), 【小题3】 (particular) through evidence-based agricultural production practices.

The global World Bee Day ceremony, 【小题4】 was held in hybrid format at the FAO headquarters on Friday, 19 May, is 【小题5】 opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of adopting pollinator-friendly agricultural production practices 【小题6】 (protect) bees and other pollinators, while contributing to the resilience, sustainability and efficiency of agrifood systems.

Valentine’s Day is known as a day of love and romanceon February 14th every year.

There are a few different versions of its origin and history, one of which dates back 【小题1】 an ancient Roman festival, Lupercalia, 【小题2】 (celebrate) on February 15th. On this day, young single women would place 【小题3】 (they) names in a huge container and young bachelors of the town would come and draw a name from it. Interestingly, China has its own Valentine’s Day, Qixi Festival, on the 7th day of the 7th month of our lunar calendar.
