Camps for Grades 6-8
Camps for Curious Minds are going virtual! Get ready for hands-on experiences this summer from the comfort of your home. Group sizes are kept small and led by two virtual counselors so that these at-home experiences are interactive and engaging.
Art and Animation (动画制作)
When: July 27-31 (1-4 pm), August 10-14 (1-4 pm)
Cost: $ 275 / $ 250 PacSci members
Create and animate a story using different artistic media and styles. Campers will explore physical media to create their art and then choose from a variety of animation styles to translate it into a digital animation.
Chef University
When: July 6-10 (9 am-12 pm), August 3-7 (1-4 pm)
Cost: $ 225 / $ 200 PacSci members
Get started learning basic cooking skills such as cutting, sauteing, emulsifying and baking, and about the scientific processes behind some of the most common food phenomena.
Anthrozoology
When: June 29-July 3 (9 am-12 pm), July 27-31 (1-4 pm), August 24-28 (9 am-12 pm)
Cost: $ 225 / $ 200 PacSci members
Be an anthrozoologist for the week, bring your curiosities to life as we discover the relationships between humans and animals! Uncover the worlds of wildlife conservation, veterinary ( 兽 医 的 ) sciences and zoology. Deepen curiosity about our natural world by creating global solutions to human and wildlife interactions.
Ready, Set, Action
When: June 22-26 (9 am-12 pm), July 20-24 (1-4 pm), August 17-21 (9 am-12 pm)
Cost: $ 225 / $ 200 PacSci members
We’re spending so much of our time in front of screens, so let’s use them to make something awesome! In just one week, we’ll learn all about movie-making, storyboards, and setdesign. We’ll explore the possibilities of using video-conference software to create unique and creative short films.

TUTORING
Tutoring(辅导)is available free of charge to all currently Tiffin University students. Tutoring services may be accessed in a variety of formats to assist you with academic needs in a wide range of courses.
Tutoring Hours:
Monday-Thursday:9:00a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday:9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Sunday:1:00p.m.-9:00p.m.
In-Person Tutoring
Campus based students and those located within driving distance of the main campus may schedule an in-person appointment for tutoring assistance during regular operating hours. Please keep in mind that not all subjects are available at specific times. To schedule an appointment, please e-mail tutor@ tiffin. edu or call the Murphy Academic Support Center at 419-448-3324.
Virtual Tutoring
Similar to our in-person tutoring, virtual tutoring is conducted by a Tiffin University tutor through an online platform. This offers more flexibility to our students and allows those at greater distances to receive academic support through our office. To be put in contact with a tutor virtually, please e-mail the Murphy Academic Support Center tutor@ tiffin.edu with the course information, a range of times, and any additional information. Our staff will then work to schedule you with a virtual tutor.
E-Tutoring
Tiffin University is a member of the Ohio E-Tutoring Collaborative, a program supported by the State of Ohio to assist in the delivery of tutoring across Ohio’s institutions of higher education. Live sessions take place in a ZOOM room within the e tutoring Online platform room using audio and video, a whiteboard, document-sharing and instant messaging. Writing students use the e Tutoring Online platform by uploading papers for review by tutors and receive written encouragement and suggestions on improving the written work.

Let’s Speak French — French Cafe Lessons in Brisbane
If you have always wanted to learn another language and are looking for a convenient opportunity to achieve your dream, then this may provide the solution.
French Cafe Lessons are taught by French Canadian teacher Lise Mariano in the relaxed environment of a suburban (郊区的) cafe. This unique method affords the students the chance to be a part of a small group conversation where they can have that extra comfort and interest which a formal classroom cannot offer.
Lise started Let’s Speak French lessons in Brisbane about 6 years ago. The classes are intentionally small so that Lise can provide personalised tutorage (指导). There are usually 4 students in one class, and the topics are connected to everyday life. Lessons are held at places in Brisbane including Kenmore, Samford and Graceville.
