It’s true what they say; working at a summer camp is a life-changing experience. I was lucky enough to work at a camp for the past 2 summers teaching Horse Riding.【小题1】. If   you’re thinking about working at a summer camp, then read on to find out why a summer camp will change you!

While working at summer camp, you are a role model to the campers. You’re the person they look up to.【小题2】.You’re the one that they will always remember. I never knew that I could make that influence on someone until my last summer when my campers hugged me and told me that “I had changed their lives”.【小题3】!

Remember all those New Year Resolutions（新年决心）that you made, of things that you said you would change, but you broke them?【小题4】? Working at a summer camp is fantastic in developing personal skills and improving/building confidence. From looking after children and working long hours, my time management skills have developed, but also my social skills and patience have grown dramatically.

When people talk about summer camps, they will usually say “it’s about the people”, or “it’s the place.” Luckily at my camp, it was “the people AND the place.” I have made friends from all over the world, who have completely changed me as a person and have helped me develop a new outlook on life. Your camp friends become your family away from home, and that is something that no money can buy.

Each summer on Thursday evenings the Crow’s Nest offers its Summer Beach Party series on the beach. The party starts at 5:30 pm each week and goes until sunset. Families are welcome, and there is no entrance fee. After the sun sets, the fun begins with dancing to the best live music of local bands.

Chef Page takes guests on a journey showing the area rich fruits, vegetables, and meats. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm with a five-course menu and good wines. Seating booked is not a choice, as all guests are seated at large, connecting, beautifully set tables designed to invite open conversations among guests. Ticket price: $ 90 per person. Tickets can be gotten online.

Strawberry U-Pick at the Boyd Farm

Strawberry U-Pick Season is starting! For now, we are open Monday to Friday from 10 a. m. to 3: 30 p. m. and every weekend from 9 a. m. to 5: 30 p. m. !

Not only do we have our u-pick strawberry fields, we also have fresh produce, prepicked strawberries, snacks and other farm goodies for you to buy. We also have lots of fun activities for the family—hayride with the cows, horse ride, animals to pet and feed, swings, slide, sand pile, corn hole, corn pile and more!
