A cosmetic company's quirky(古怪的) video advert has backfired with customer saying they will refuse to buy its products.

Purcotton, the Chinese company owned by Winner Medical Co., released the video on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. The video starts with a woman walking along and being followed by a man who face is covered. Looking concerned, the woman produces a Purcotton wet wipe and removes his makeup. When the man taps her shoulder, she turns out and a man's face is shown.

"What’s up, brother?” asks the woman, in a manly voice. Vomiting sounds and visual effects have been added.

More than 3,000 commented, mainly offended by how acceptable the video is, stated it’s appalling that they should normalize stalking(骚扰). A female Weibo user said it was really not funny that a woman’s looks were being made fun.

China Women’s News condemned Purcotton and comment that the video was full of bias, gender stereotypes and ignorance.

Purcotton has withdrawn the video and apologized for the discomfort caused to women, saying future advertising content will be strict examined.

Many students are unwilling to do housework at home, say that they are too busy studying. However, in my opinion, students should spent some time helping with housework. Here are some reason. If we left all the housework to our parents, it will make them very much tired. For our part, being independent is really benefit. As a matter fact, the earlier we learn to be independent, the better our future will be. Doing housework can help us to learn to look after us. Now we are no long small children, but we ought to help with housework to reduce our parents’ burdens.

Nowadays, it is rather obviously that chasing stars had become a trend among young people. Regarding as this phenomenon, I’d like to express my own opinion.

On the one hand, it can be waste of time and money to chase stars, especially when you go to concerts or buy related products. However, it may distract your attention, that has a bad influence on your studies. On the other hand, seeking the strength of the stars may help you become a better person, especially if the“star” is a role model such as a scientist and a doctor.

In short, chasing stars is a double-edged sword. If handle properly, it is greatly beneficial to a youngster. If not, they may cause bad consequences.

Dear Editor,

I m sorry to occupy (占用）your precious time，and I really want to tell you something about the problem of some people keep too many pets nowadays.I take the problem more and more seriously for the following reason.

First of all,as it is known to people,pets make such much noise that they trouble residents a lot. What's more,it is wide accepted that animal waste pollutes the environment,which makes people quite uncomfortable.Many owners like taking their pets to public places which they may frighten children or even bite people.The mostly important is that pets can spread some diseases and this attracted much attention.Taking all these factors in consideration,I sincerely hope that I can get help from you and expect that the media will do something for this.
