Last Saturday, my classmates and I went to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, what was a precious chance to get closely to science. The moment when we arrived there, we were warmly greeted by an expert stood at the entrance. To have better understanding of daily basic science, we first attend a professional lecture on the theme of Life and Water. The highlight of the visit were the hands-on experience in the science lab. Under the guidances of the expert, we got involved in a medical experiment with great enthusiasm. Through the meaningful activity, we all agree science plays an important role in our life. We are determining to study hard to understand them.

I love playing sports. After class, I played various sports with my friends, such as basketball, volleyball and badminton. In my view, playing sports is physical, mental and social adventure. The physical benefits are probable the most obvious. Regardless of our fitness level, after we start playing sports, we’ll notice an increase on our overall fitness. Beside, playing sports also contribute to our mental health. A pat on the back or a high-five from a teammate can really boost their confidence and self-worth. Moreover, those participated in sports can learn how to work with others. There’s no shortage of reasons to find a sport to play with. Pick one and get moved!
