The other day I was sitting in my car while my daughter was going shopping. Soon I saw a new red Cadillac SUV ________in the parking spot beside me. Out of it stepped a(n) ________young woman in high heels, wearing sunglasses. Her face was ________. I watched her as she   headed for the store and ________about her life.

A moment later, an old station wagon(旅行车) pulled up beside the SUV. Out of it ________ a young mom with 4 little girls. All were dressed in worn clothes. They headed to the store ________all the way.

A while later I saw the Cadillac lady come out pushing a cart (购物车) filled with a new TV. Her eyes were still ________, and her face was still serious. After   fifteen minutes, the station wagon mother ________with her little girls. They had a week’s worth of ________in their cart. After ________them from it, the mother took out two packs of cookies, broke both in half, and   gave each girl a half of a cookie. The girls smiled as if it was the most priceless ________in the   world. After they drove away, I couldn’t help thinking about the two women I ________ knew which one had more money, ________I wasn’t sure which one really owned more.

In life there’re many kinds of wealth, but the most ________one of all is love. The ________is that one who feels the most love learns the most and grows the most. The only thing we will be carrying with us is the love we have shared.

Sixteen years ago, I learned an important life lesson in the back of a New York City taxi cab.

I jumped in a taxi, and we ________ for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane, when, suddenly, a black ________ jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver       ________ his brakes. The car slipped and nearly missed the other car! The driver of the other car       ________ us and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.And I mean, he was actually ________.

So, I asked him, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ________ your car.” This is when my taxi driver told me about what I now call “The Law of Garbage Trucks.” “Many people arc like Garbage Trucks, running around full of garbage, full of ________, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage ________, they need a place to dump it, and if you let them, they’ll dump it on you. When that happens, don’t ________ it personally. ________, just smile, wave, and move on. You’ll be ________ because you did so.”

Wow! That really got me considering how often I let Garbage Trucks run right over me. And, how often do I then take their garbage and ________ it onto other people? It was that day I ________, “I’m not going to do it anymore.” Since then, I have started to see Garbage Trucks everywhere. I see the ________ they’re carrying...I see them coming to drop it off. And like my Taxi Driver, I don’t make it a ________ thing; I just smile, wave, and move on.

Being able to hop on a plane and travel somewhere is great, but sitting up in first class is a whole other ballgame compared to economy._________, for an elderly woman Violet, her new-found friend has got her back.

Violet was_________from New York when she_________a friendship with Jack. Despite the total_________in their backgrounds and life stories, they didn’t_________them from chatting.
