Kinder Camp
This is a week-long camp, Monday through Friday, for children from three years old to those entering first grade in the fall. Early childhood educators guide your child through activities including songs, games, stories and walks in the woods. Daily themes include dirt, furry animals, insects and more! Parents sign up to bring a snack (小吃). Choose from either morning or afternoon sessions, from June 9 to July 1, 2020.
Kids Camp
Children explore all day in the natural world. Art, music, cooperative games and hikes through the woods are some of the activities in this fun-filled week. Each grade level has its own camp program especially designed with the campers’ interests in mind.
Camp takes place Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm.
Level 1 (completed 1st grade): July 28 to August 1, 2020.
Level 2 (completed 2nd grade): August 4 to 8, 2020.
Level 3 (completed 3rd grade): August 11 to 15, 2020.
Please note: children must bring their own lunches.
Outdoor Expeditions
Send your child on a traveling adventure. Teenagers will investigate the natural, cultural and historical facts that make their hometown a great city. Activities will include unique field trips and tours.
Outdoor Expedition: from 9 am to 3 pm, August 11 to 15, 2020.
Please note: children must bring their own lunches.
Rainbow Camp
Campers enjoy all kinds of activities including arts and crafts, music and singing, drama, active games, cooking and a host of special events that go with our theme weeks! Special guests are invited to the camp every week to entertain our campers and may include storytellers, musicians and magicians.
Week-long camps, June 14 to July 18.
Campers must be at least 4 years old to take part.

The exhibition describes how Helene became Helene, and how a talented student grew into one of the most influential artists in our history. The exhibition focuses specifically on Helene’s years of travel, during which she stayed in Paris, Pont-Aven in northern France, Fiesole in Italy, and St Ives in England at the end of the 19th century.
Natalia Goncharova

Natalia Goncharova is known as a central figure in Russian avant-garde(先锋派) art. The exhibition offers a comprehensive view of the artist’s work from the first four decades of the 20th century. The exhibition continues the work done by the Ateneum in appreciating women artists, examples of which are the Alice Neel exhibition, held in the summer of 2016, and exhibitions by female Finnish artists.
Inspiration-Contemporary Art & Classics

How have international contemporary artists been inspired by the classics of European art? And why is it these works, in particular, that have become known around the world? “Inspiration” presents art that draws inspiration from masterpieces, created by today’s most interesting contemporary artists. In the exhibition, the original works are referenced through replicas(复制品),prints, plaster casts(石膏模型) and so on.
Magnus Enckell

The painter Magnus Enckell is known especially as a representative of Finnish symbolism. Enckell’s best known works include The Awakening and The Faun, which are part of the Ateneum collection. The Ateneum exhibition represents the first comprehensive show of all of the artist’s works.

Activity centers provide a great family outing with opportunities to do outdoor activities, such as horse riding, rock climbing, treetop rope challenges, mini-golf and much more. Many of these centers also have a children’s soft play area, so you know children will be safe while they burn off some energy. These activity centers also provide great indoor alternatives should the weather be too cold and rainy to venture outdoors, as many activities will be held indoors in poorer weather.
The Chocolate Factory Hawkshead
If you love chocolate, then you will love The Chocolate Factory in Hawkshead. Here you can book special chocolate-making workshops that cater to children, family groups or adults only. The workshops last around 45 minutes,and children are provided with an apron and hairnet that they can keep along with their own creations.
Kong Adventure Center
When the weather is poor,but you still want to climb, the Kong Center in Keswick offers challenges suitable for the entire family. There is a large indoor climbing wall with various challenges, a bouldering room (鹅卵石铺的房间) that includes a MoonBoard, a child-friendly climbing wall and a hard play area located within the café.
The Puzzling Place
If you’re stuck for something to do on a rainy day in Keswick, then the Puzzling Place is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Be amazed at gravity-defying (反重力的)rooms, test your perception with optical illusions and train your brain with testing puzzles. Located in the center of Keswick, this is a great attraction for the whole family.
Rookin House Activity Center
Rookin House is a family-owned activity center close to Penrith, offering a whole host of activities suitable for both adults and children aged 4 and above. There is something to please everyone, with horse riding, off roading (越野驾驶), quad biking (骑四驱车) and shooting on the range available. You can even take a course in operating a JCB excavator! The center welcomes both groups and individual bookings.
