Things you need to notice before travelling
Luggage
We ask you to keep what you bring with you down to one medium-sized suitcase per person on board the bus.
Seat Arrangements (安排)
Special needs for particular seats can be made on most bus breaks when booking, but since arrangements are made on a first-come-first-served basis, early booking is advisable. When bookings are made with us, you will be offered the best seats we have on the bus at that time.
Travel Documents
When you have paid your deposit (定金), we will send you all the necessary documents (文件), so that you receive them in good time before setting off. Certain documents, for example air or boat tickets, may have to be kept and your driver or guide will then give them to you at the proper time.
Special Diets
If you need a special diet, you must tell us at the time of booking and provide us with a copy of the diet. This will be passed on to the hotel or hotels on your bus break. However, on certain bus breaks, the hotels used are tourist class and they may not be able to prepare special diets. Any extra costs must be paid to the hotel yourself before leaving the hotel.
Programs
Some of our hotels arrange extra programs which include music, dancing and film shows, etc. They are all offered by the hotel, but not sure.

Chinese New Year Celebration Tour
DAY1 Arrive in Beijing
After your plane lands in Beijing, your tour guide will be ready waiting at the arrival hall and transport you to the hotel for check-in and rest.
DAY 2 Visit the Great Wall
You will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. This less-crowded section is a 2.5-hour drive from downtown Beijing. A cable car (缆车) takes you to a good section where you can walk along the wall.
DAY3 Beijing City Classic Sights and Spring Festival Shopping
In the morning, hang around Tian’anmen Square—the world’s largest city square, before entering the Forbidden City.
Some Spring Festival atmosphere will be added into today’s journey—Spring Festival Shopping. Your guide will take you to the local market to buy some special items (at your own expenses), like couplets, lucky character posters and red lanterns.
DAY 4 Experience Chinese New Year’s Eve
You will be welcomed into your host family and join them in preparing for the coming of the New Year. You can learn how to write Chinese lucky expressions by Chinese calligraphy (书法) in the morning and eat dumplings in the afternoon. Another tradition in China is to send red envelopes to express good wishes for the New Year. We will prepare some red envelopes for you to send out to your host family members.
DAY5 Attend Chinese New Year Celebration
In the morning, there will be a big praying (祈祷) ceremony held at Temple of Heaven. Holding one of the city’s busiest temple fairs, Ditan Park has become the gathering place where people celebrate the beginning of a new year.
DAY6 Leave Beijing
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transport you to the airport for your leaving.

About the tour
