There was a time when I was addicted to online games. Because of that, my study was suffered a lot. Instead for scolding me, Mother gave me a book by Helen Keller and asked me to read it. Hardly have I finished a few pages when I was great attracted by Helen Keller. Despite(尽管) her disability, she didn’t abandon hope and achieve a lot. This was her determination and courage that made her huge success.

When I finished reading the book, Mother had a talk with me. “You can also achieve which Helen Keller did.” Mother’s words ring in my ear whenever I see the book, inspired me to face challenges in life.

Jeremy has a large circle of friends and is very popular at parities. Everybody admire him for his great sense of humor. Recently, one of Jememy’s closest friend asked him to make a speech at a wedding reception. This is the sort of thing that Jeremy loves. He prepared the speech careful and went to the wedding with his daughter, Jenny. He included a large number of funny stories in the speech and of course, it was great success. As soon as he finished , Jenny told him she wants to go home. Jeremy was a little disappointing at this but he did as if his daughter asked. On the way home, he asked Jenny if he enjoyed the speech. In his surprise, she said she didn’t. Jeremy asked her why it was so and she told him that she didn’t like to see so many people laughed at him.

On Women's Day, my father and I planned to give my mother surprise. We did something specially for her. Know that she was always unwilling to buy herself anything, we decided to buy him a perfect gift. In the shop, the shop assistant introduced a beautiful necklace, what I thought was the very thing for my mother. However, we bought it without hesitations. The moment we take out the necklace, my mother was so surprising that she could not say a word. It's my great pleasure that my mother liked of the gift, and I hope my mother will be happy and healthy forever.

The person I respect most is my father. Like a doctor, he is always busy with work. After I could remember, he has never spent a whole weekend stay with me. Every day, he went to work before I get up, and comes back home after I go to bed. So to me, it doesn't matter at all, because he is a great hero in his mind. He devotes almost all the time his patients, and many life are saved by him. He always tells me what a man should have dignity, honesty, honor, and most of all, be helpful to others. This affects me deep, so I am working hard in order to be a man like him in the future.
